Dutch Field Hockey looks at the basis of hockey: technical skills. Good skills are the basis for tactical behaviour. The player that is not able to play the ball from A to B will not improve on tactical level. The player that is not able to control the ball quick will slow down the game.

Many young player - it is sad to see - doesn't get the necessary corrections when making technical mistakes. This will result in major technical problems in the years after. We all know the problems players have with the long hit. For instance hands apart when gripping the stick. Players that are not aware of the 'cross step' or that have problems with their back swing.

Through Dutch Field Hockey you will acquire the know-how to deal with these problems.

Because they are game orientated, our courses are very compact. No half year commitment but short intense courses of around six evenings, conducted by top trainers and coaches.

heleen_natte.jpgHeleen Natte, trainers coordinator HC Terriers:
"Past season Dutch Field Hockey has trained 18 new youth trainers at our club. The main advantage is that the course is aimed at game situations. Besides the fun we had it resulted in a bunch of very good trainers for our club. I can recommend every one the Dutch Field Hockey Youth trainer course".
